Culture Clash

I recently read this article Culture Clash: Beach Volleyball in Qatar on MSNBC.com. We really take things for granted here in the United States. But let me just say, how awesome that these women from Iraq are competing in sports.

I loved the comment from the doofus who was watching without his wife. He was doing it for "national honor".

I guess that's what too much money and not enough challenge in life does to your brain.

These people have more money than they know what to do with, and they somehow manage to contribute nothing back to the world. No Nobel prizes or AIDS vaccines coming from this part of the world, no sir.

But voyeurs at a beach volleyball tournament? Got that covered.
