I am a mom to twin boys who just turned three, I just wanted to say sounds like you are doing a great job. The first few months are exhausting both physically and emotionally, the best thing to do is accept help when you can so you can get some time to yourself. I found that at around 6 weeks or so kids get on a better schedule and then it all sort of fits into place. I swore by the "babywise method" (Its a book that encourages having the babies eat, then "play" (essentially stay awake) then sleep, this helps them to learn to fall asleep when not eating) mine slept through the night at 8 weeks with this schedule. Once you get your sleep all is good with the world.
These babes will always give me a "joy" inside. your doing a perfect mom job. The best you know. You have a good mentor with your mom there.

Being an adult twin, I can imagine what my single mom all had to do so long ago.

I stumbled across your blog in searching for information about Ganirelix. My husband and I have been ttc for a long time and are up to doing IUI's with injectibles. I identified so much with the stories and feelings you wrote about in your blog. I took great comfort and hope in reading your story. Thank you for sharing it. Congratulations to you and your husband on the birth of your twins.
